Department of the Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics is part of the Masaryk University. The staff and students are involved in solving broad range of astrophysical problems from the study of stellar atmospheres, variable stars, circumstellar environment, star clusters to the high-energy physics and study of intergalactic environment.
