The Department of Astronomy, Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade, Serbia, studies cosmic-ray nucleosynthesis, cosmic-ray acceleration and interactions, and Machine Learning.

In detail, the Department of Astronomy has several groups working on different topics - acceleration and interactions of cosmic rays (supernova remnants, accretion and merger shocks) - theory, observations and simulations, nucleosynthesis by cosmic rays, machine learning applications in astronomy, active galactic nuclei, asteroids etc.
