The University of Zagreb is the oldest and biggest university in South-Eastern Europe. Employees of the Department of Physics are conducting internationally relevant and competitive research; they participate as project leaders or researchers on the competitive national and international research projects, thus contributing to the higher education in the field of physics at the University of Zagreb.
