Chemical Elements as Tracers of the Evolution of the Cosmos

Ultra-Low Background Alpha Spectrometer (Dresden, Germany)

The ultra-low background alpha spectrometer at the Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics, TU Dresden, Germany, enables low rate alpha detection.

The ultra-low background alpha spectrometer at the Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics, TU Dresden, Germany, is sensitive to alpha decays in the range of 10 counts per day in the energy range of 1 to 10 MeV.

Details about the twin Frisch-Grid ionization chamber can be  found at http://arxiv.org/abs/1511.01283
